In this episode of Extraordinary Asian Women podcast, I’m super excited to introduce you to my guest today! From having a house with white picket fence, designer clothes, 1 vacation per year to living in 4 countries over the past 2 years. She shared with us how she packed of her family for 4 into 6 suitcases and now living in Tokyo Japan.

I introduce to you Veronica Hanson

Veronica talked the expectations she came to realize she was living under. To distinguish for ourselves the need to be accepted by other people rather than being able to accept ourselves for who we are.

She shared with us how to become a minimalist, to identify the 3 reasons why we hold onto materialistic things.

Veronica also talked about identifying the 3 level of dreams within ourselves, and how to go after the 3rd level, which is the dream we really want for ourselves.

You really don’t want to miss this episode!!

About Veronica

I did all the things that were supposed to make me happy. I got married, I had 2 children, I balanced my home and career, I had an actual white picket fence. Everyone told me I would be happy when I got to that spot in my life. But I wasn't happy. I created a life based on social approval and family expectations. I didn't want a house in the suburbs, one vacation per year, or designer clothing. One day I decided to become a minimalist. A little while later I decided to become a nomadic family. People had all sorts of negative stuff to say which they disguised as concern for my well being. My family for 4 fits into 6 suitcases and we've lived or long term stayed in 4 countries over the past 2 years. Currently we live in Tokyo Japan.
